Our Competitive Trampoline & Tumbling (T&T) Team is a more challenging program for those interested in competing at a higher level. Lead by Richard “Tex” Womack, we pride ourselves on having the utmost knowledge of the sport. In addition to increasing kids’ athletic ability, we believe the team experience is a chance for young people to develop life skills such as self-confidence, teamwork, responsibility, friendship, and sportsmanship.
As a USA Gymnastics member, we compete in their local, regional and national events. Unlike gymnastics, T&T competitions allow athletes to compete at a different level for each individual event. Performances center around three Junior Olympic events:
- Trampoline – connecting ten skills together in a routine,
- Tumbling – two routines of up to eight connected skills on an 84’ tumbling floor, and
- Double Mini – two routines involving two or three connected skills per routine.
