Our “Basic Training” program is designed for athletes new to All Star cheer who are curious about the sport. This is the perfect introduction, allowing athletes and their families to experience the fun of cheer in a learning-focused, non-competitive environment.
Jumpstart your tumbling journey! This camp is designed for absolute beginners and provides a fun, safe environment to explore the basics. We’ll cover all the foundational skills necessary to start your tumbling adventure. Skills: Rolls, bridges, handstands, cartwheels, and essential body awareness training. Structure: Two hours of guided instruction, including 30 minutes of instructional open gym time to practice and play.
Master the linear tumbling skills essential for dance! This intensive, two-hour session (ages 6-14) focuses on the technique and power needed for perfect aerials and beyond. Instructional Focus: Tumble training tailored specifically for dance integration. Skill Rotations: Small group instruction rotating through various equipment stations. Practice Time: A 30-minute instructional open gym is included to perfect what you’ve learned. Requirements: Must have a strong cartwheel and one-handed cartwheel.
This two-hour intensive technical camp (ages 6-14) is designed to help you achieve a strong, safe back handspring—or take your existing skills to the next level. Athletes are grouped by current ability and rotate through specialized equipment stations. While beginners focus on foundational technique and consistency, those who are comfortable with their back handspring will be challenged with progressions for advanced skills and connections (like back tucks or series handsprings). The camp finishes with 30 minutes of supervised open gym time to cement newly learned skills.
Build a strong, beautiful tumbling foundation at Airborne Academy! This camp is designed specifically for athletes who have a solid cartwheel and are ready to master clean, consistent walkovers, precise bridges, and powerful round-offs. What to Expect: We focus heavily on technique to ensure every move is executed with control and fluidity. The majority of the camp is dedicated to floor tumbling drills, but we utilize our trampolines and equipment frequently to build essential body awareness, which is key to nailing these foundational skills. Who Should Join: This camp is perfect for those who want to perfect their walkovers, strengthen their bridges, and enhance the power of their round-offs—the building blocks for all future tumbling passes.
